CLASSES DESIGNED FOR

Learning at Your Own Pace

At Majesty in Motion, we believe dance should be fun, stress-free, and tailored to your journey. With classes for all levels, from beginner to advanced, you can progress at a pace that feels right for you.

LEVEL 1 SALSA
This class is designed for all levels. In this beginner class, you will learn the basic Salsa steps & turns, along with rhythm, timing, lead, and follow techniques.

(No Partner Needed)
LEVEL 2 SALSA
Level up your Salsa - In this class, we'll review the basics and introduce you to more cross-body lead variations and turns.

(You must know your Cross-body Lead, basic right and left turns, and you must understand timing. You may be asked to sit out in class if you do not meet the requirements.)
LEVEL 3 SALSA FOOTWORK
This class is highly recommended for those who want to advance to the next level. Level 2 Salsa, this class is 1 hour of Salsa Shines/Footwork. Right/Left Suzy Q's, Front Double Basics, Hook Steps, and more! A fun class that helps you connect with your partner.
LEVEL 3 SALSA PARTNERWORK
This class's duration is 1 hour of partnerwork. The benefit of this class is that we have more time to practice to music, and more detail is offered. 

(You must know your Cross-body Lead, Basic Right, Left Turns, and you must understand timing. You may be asked to sit out in class if you do not meet the requirements)
LEVEL 1 BACHATA
This Beginner Bachata focuses on all the basic steps, turns, and you will learn how to lead/follow. 

(No partner needed)
LEVEL 2 BACHATA
Level 2 Bachata is the next step after you have a strong foundation of all your basics. In this class we introduce moves that include direction changes., variety of hand tosses and turns. 

(Must know their basics, left & right turn, and comfortable with different connections. You may asked to sit out in class if you do not meet the requirements.)
LEVEL 3 BACHATA
In this class you must know direction changes are definite, including outside turns and spot turns, with hand configurations (open, thumb-to-palm) and frame options (open-semi-closed)

(You may be asked to sit out of class if you do not meet the requirements.)
TECHNIQUE CLASS
*Highly recommended for All Levels*

The details in this class can help you move to the next level. Our technique class is great for anyone to take! Learn more about connection, timing, and rhythm so you can dance better with your partner!
LEVEL 1 MAMBO
This class is designed for all levels. In this beginner class, you will learn the basic Mambo (Salsa ON2) steps and turns, along with rhythm, timing, lead, and follow techniques.

(No partner is needed)
LEVEL 2 MAMBO
Level up your Mambo (Salsa ON2) - In this class, we'll review the basics and introduce you to more cross-body lead variations and turns. 

(You must know your cross-body lead, basic, right and left turns, and you must understand timing. You may be asked to sit out in class if you do not meet the requirements)
LEVEL 3 MAMBO
In this class you will learn more footwork and partnerwork, and double turn variations. Learn quicker transitions and more body movement.

(Must be able to do double turns. This is a fast-paced class. Strong fundamentals are required! You must also understand Mambo timing. You may be asked to sit out of class if you do not meet the requirements)
LEVEL 3&4 SALSA ON2
Level up your Mambo (Salsa ON2) - In this class, we'll review the basics and introduce you to more cross-body lead variations and turns. 

(You must know your cross-body lead, basic, right and left turns, and you must understand timing. You may be asked to sit out in class if you do not meet the requirements)
LEVEL 1 CHA CHA CHA
Cha Cha Cha combo class! Basic steps with partnering.

(No partner needed)
CHA CHA CHA FOOTWORK
In this class, you will learn some energetic, fun Cha Cha Cha steps! All Levels. 
BODY MOVEMENT
In this class, you will learn how to move your body more fluidly, with a focus on body isolations, foot placement, ands body awareness. These tools will help you in any dance genre you are learning.

David Stein is the best dance instructor in San Diego not only is he a teacher but a mentor that will help you when you need it.
