Majesty in Motion (MIM) is a salsa and bachata dance studio dedicated to high-energy performance, a jazzy style, and precise musicality. Founded in 2002 by David and Jennifer Stein, MIM has become the largest Salsa and bachata dance company in San Diego.

Since MIM’s inception almost 16 years ago, we have grown from one dance team to now ten dance teams including five partner salsa teams, two ladies teams, and three Bachata teams.

Dancing with Majesty will change your life! The owners and staff are all talented, professional, and fun. You can tell they are truly passionate about music, dance, and helping their students grow. Their group classes are perfect for learning the basics, meeting new people, and getting in a great workout. They also offer private classes and teams if you want to level up your skills. The studio is a beautiful and safe place to learn, and they've been especially responsible with COVID protocols. Majesty also has socials at some of the best venues in town so you can let loose and put the skills you learned at the studio into practice. I have been coming here for years, have made lifelong friends, and love being part of such a fun and welcoming community.
